It is located at the slopes of the fascinating and uncontaminated valley of Mugello, nearby the superb town of art Florence. The castle contains a hotel and is in a marvellous landscape, which stands out for its geographical position and its history: mountains, hills, green valleys, uncontaminated streams, pure air, individual ambiences, colours, sounds, sweet smells make this place really magic. The building has been renewed carefully according to the original shape and is located on the top of a rock that dominates the valley underneath. The wide valley is surrounded near many stone terracing that, together with the structure of the castle, revive memories of historic times. The hotel is surrounded near a personal park and fenced near oaks and cypre es, which alternate with many green vicinitys. Here there is a pleasant swimming pool of irregular shape (6x10 ms), dug into the rock in front of the main tower entrance with Roman staircase (the tower is open from 15th May to 30th September). Il Castelluccio has a wide reception room with a living room and a fireplace, three dining rooms furnished in country style, according to the owners’ creative private taste. It is the perfect place where you can spend magic and memorable moments and enjoy old Tuscan recipes and famous red wines of this fertile and welcoming region. Our Rooms: 'Il Castelluccio' has five rooms with personal bath, provided with all services and comforts and offers its visitors breakfast, lunch and super.
