We can not accommodate check ins later than 7 P.M. We will not accept your booking if checking in later than 7 P.M. You must request an entry code so you can get in the visitorhouse. No Front Desk Service offered. Otherwise, you will not be able to get in. You must respond to our e-mails so we know you have the info required to get in. Drop off your luggage from 10 AM, however, your room may not be ready until 3 P.M. (Please tell us you arrived---if you don't see us, please call us on the house telephone (Teletelephone number will be given on confirmation email after reservation). We are having a big problem with some visitors specially coming from Korea, Japan & China, they are not responding to our e-mails, they are not requesting an entry code and they are not respecting our check in time and arriving way too late disturbing the visitors that are already sleeping. VERY IMPORTANT: You MUST call or e-mail us 3 days before arriving to get an entry code for the visitorhouse, otherwise you can not get in. You must have the directions page. We must have a valid telephone number and E-mail addre to communicate with you. Daily cleaning from 10AM to 3PM. This is a self Service visitorhouse no front desk service. We do not accept reservations made with a debit card. Before you Make a reservation for the Arlington position - PLEASE NOTE there is a minimum of Two Nights Stay, unle you are reserving more than one room. DEPOSIT REQUIRED if reserving more than 7 nights, OR more than 1 room and/OR any length of stay during a holiday week. MUST have picture ID with home addre 50+ miles away from the visitorhouse. Check in: From 10 AM to drop off luggage, however, your room is not ready until 3 P.M. Check out: 10:30AM or pay for additional night Great position! VERY Clean, Very Quiet, very safe home surroundings, safe residential neighborhood, surrounded near main hotels, shopping mall, several restaurants, 10 few minutes walk from the metro station, 10 few minutes metro/subway ride from the Smithsonian Museums, monuments, White House, etc. Free Local Calls (need calling card for International/long distance Calls). Free parking. Free Self Service LIGHT Continental Breakfast. Coffee, Hot Chocolatte, Tea & Cookies anytime. Families with children are Welcome ONLY IN THE BASEMENT ROOM. NO-SMOKING, NO-DRINKING and NO PETS facility. Wash/Dry/Fold laundry services at $10 per load PAYMENT: Balanc e is paid on the date of arrival. We accept visa and master cards, cash, cash orders and travellers checks only (no private checks please). We do not accept bookings with a Debit Card. DEPOSIT: 2 nights deposit will be charged to your credit card when reserving over 7 nights, or more than 1 room and/or any length stay during a holiday week. 50% deposit will be charged on your credit card if reserving 2 rooms or more for any lenght of stay or anytime during a holiday or special event, or if reserving more than 10 nights. Deposit is unrefundable unle you give us the proper cancellation notice. CANCELLATION NOTICE: We require 3 days cancellation or change notice, otherwise, your card will get charged for a one night stay. For bookings over 5 nights, or for more than 1 room, and/or for bookings during holidays or special events we require at least 5 days notice, otherwise, your card will be charged for 2 nights. NO SHOWS will be charged for 2 night stay. 15 days cancellation notice for booking over 15 nights. We need written signed authorization faxed to us if reserving with somebody elses card, otherwise we will not accept your booking. |
