A hospital for pilgrims and wayfarers until the 16th century, it then became a monastery. Today it is a up to date and relaxing youth hostel with 50 beds housed in an appealing medieval style. The Bigallo Youth Hostel welcomes third millennium pilgrims who yearn to live in an ambience outside of time and who enjoy both the splendour of natural world and the nearbynear art centers of Tuscany. The Antico Spedale del Bigallo as well has a ceremony room which can hold up to 100 seats, this can be used for public and personal gatherings, such as weddings, anniversaries, concerts, art exhibitions, meetings and/or conferences. Open from the 1st of April to 30th of September.
