The Leo Hostel is in a ideal position - just 750 meters South of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden town, situated inside Beijing's historic hutong streets. Our central position means that all main tourist sites are easily within reach. The Forbidden town is a short walk away, acro Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven is a 20 minute stroll South, through the hutong streets. From just 100 meters away, you can catch buses to the Summer Palace, Silk marketplace, Wanfujing, Xidan, Sanlitun bar street / emba y vicinity, the main rail station & more. The nearbyest subway station is 500 meters away, and we as well hire out bikes. Despite beiing very close to Tiananmen Square, our local neighbourhood is very quiet. We are located inside some of Beijing's historic hutong streets, where you can explore a great selection of traditional marketplaces, restaurants, shops, and dwellings. You can discover these on foot or bike, or take our hutong pedicab tour and meet some of the locals in their hutong homes. Due to our central position, all required facilities, such as banks, ATMs, post offices and photo shops are easily found.
