Nelson
Bridge Street Backpackers (previously Bumbles) is a former lavishness hotel in central Nelson located only 2 few minutes walk from the inter town bus station. The new owners, Tony and Kath, have extensively upgraded the amenities during the last year. We can offer you a selection of types of accommodation which includes double and twin rooms with personal bathrooms, four-bed dorm rooms with attached bathrooms, four bed dorm rooms with shared bathroom and large dorm room with shared bathroom. We have full cooking amenities, a barbecue vicinity, laundry, email amenities and plenty of seating in our quiet sunny courtyard. Our welcoming and knowledgeable staff are able to advise you on the many things to do offered in sunny Nelson and can make reservations for the amenities as well as onward travel. The striking Tahunanui beach / sea is only 5 few minutes drive or a short ride on one of our free bikes. Regular buses from the bus station acro the road can as well take you to the beach / sea. The hostel is very close to several pubs, clubs and cafés as well as shops and supermarketplaces. The Saturday and Sunday morning ‘flea marketplaces’ are an event not to be mi ed if you are there at the weekend.
