The 150 year old rustic townhouse has been renewed in a traditional Spanish style and attractively decorated and furnished with stone and mosaic tiled flooring and original wooden beamed ceilings. There are three bed rooms; one twin/double room, one single/twin room and one twin room with an extra fold out bed. All rooms are bright, attractive and comfortably furnished, with hanging space, a mirror and a hairdryer. Please note that there are steep stairs to the bed rooms that may be unsuitable for children or people with mobility problems. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided, but please bring your own beach / sea towels. There are two bathrooms for visitor use with an extra shower and toilet / wc downstairs if needed. Hot water is provided near solar panels with an electric back up. All visitors have use of a relaxing lounge vicinity (with games, CD player, Television, video and a range of books), a patio and roof terrace with views to the mountains. The patio vicinity has a splash pool and a lemon tree as its central feature. Breakfast, included in the price, is vegetarian. There is as well an aromatherapy service provided onsite near a qualified aromatherapist. Periana is famed for its fantastic olive oil (a visit to the local mill is a must for connoi eurs) and peaches, said to be the best in Spain. Periana is located in an vicinity of outstanding splendour and is perfect for those who appreciate natural world and enjoy outdoor things to do, though equally suited to those wishing to unwind. |
