Prices From $15.86, £8.97, €13.01 Accommodation Type: HOSTEL Central Blue Mountains Backpackers 144 Bathurst Rd Katoomba Blue Mountains This is the NEWEST and most CENTRAL hostel in Katoomba as well the BEST, only 200m walk from the railway station and right near the entrance road into Katoomba. Opened in January 2005 it is a very roomy and CLEAN hostel with a splendid entrance way with an elegant chandelier and grand staircase. There is as well a huge lounge and dining vicinity, located around a log fire and pool table with many pleasant tables and relaxing lounge suites.. You can choose from single, double, twin or triple rooms along with dorms and family rooms. special amenities exist for school & other groups. The building is centrally heated(June to September), so it is very warm and snug in winter. We have one of the best kitchens of any hostel in NSW, with ample Refrigerator and storage space; along with 2 commercial stoves and ovens with microwaves, toasters etc. fantastic amenities to cook yourself a roast. bed rooms are clean and relaxing with duvets during winter months and the personal rooms all have their own (Television's and tea making amenities coming soon). Brand new showers and bathrooms have been built , no other hostel in NSW has better amenities. Seeing is believing There is plenty to do at our hostel. We have a pool-table, table-soccer, board games while you can simply unwind on one of our relaxing sofas. books, Board games are offered at reception. We as well have 2 quiet, indoor reading vicinitys with very comfy sofas. A large screen sky Television room is as well offered, perfect to watch films and all sporting events. Outside is a superb deck terrace with tables and chairs, Barbeque, and a shady, covered vicinity. We have a drying vicinity for wet clothing and coats etc. Coin operated laundry and washing machines offered for visitor use as well as an ironing board. Lockers and storage room for backpacks are offered. A safe bike rack is as well offered. Off street car parking and a bus parking zone exists at our hostel. Plenty of info and suggested walking treks offered, from our info boards, we can as well book day trips to Jenolan caves, tours and mountain adventure things to do for you. |
