Prices From $25.35, £14.34, €20.00 Accommodation Type: HOSTEL David Inn Via Ricasoli 31 Florence David Inn is a little, clean and snug hostel in the middle of Florence. We are situated 50 meters from the Duomo, 20 meters from the up to date Art Museum; the resting place of Michelangelo's David, and a ten minute walk from the rail station. We are not among the usual hostels and hotels of the Via Nazionale right nearby the rail station. We are just as close, but in a safer position, right in the middle of the old-town. The staff members are young and helpful (and almost all speak english) and are happy to direct you to the main attractions that Florence has to offer, and to as well take you out into town at night to sample some of the best bars and clubs in Florence. We as well do a free pub crawl two times per week. The hostel is a converted apartment on the third floor of a building that looks onto the Duomo. There is an elevator, and we are open at all times. You can come and go as you please. We have two little dorms, three triples, two bathrooms (one shower, one bath) and three toilet / wcs, and one kitchen with oven, cookers, fridge, dining table, cutlery etc. All bedding is provided and there’s no curfew and we provide free maps. At this time we can only accept cash on arrival, and we apologize for this inconvenience. Since it is a very little hostel, the ambience is extraordinarily welcoming. Everyone knows each other, has breakfast together, cooks together and goes out together. It is the ideal place to meet other travellers/ backpackers or just to have a relaxing and unwinding holiday in one of the most striking cities in Europe. |
