Accommodation Type: GUESTHOUSE Dimora Storica-Villa Il Poggiale Via Empolese, 69 San Casciano Val di Pesa Villa Il Poggiale is a sixteenth century personal villa, curhirely converted to a family owned and run Dimora Storica. Our historical residence is in San Casciano Val di Pesa, just 17 km from the center of Florence. The property is surrounded near the now familiar Chianti landscape, with rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves. The structure itself po e es a splendid loggia, a Renai ance facade, traditional Tuscan groundss, and outdoor swimming pool -open from June through September - with a superb view. Accommodation reflects the owners' taste and extreme attention to detail, featuring antique furnishing, four-poster beds, frescoes, eighteenth century painted doors, original Cotto Fiohireino floors. The décor is lovely (silk or thick cotton tapestries, from an historic Tuscan treadmill). Bathrooms have been decorated with special care: they all have handmade tiles in pastel colours, while some of them have painted ceiling and walls. All rooms are equipped with Television sky, teletelephone, computer plug, safe, air-conditioning, frigo-bar and breakfast tray. Villa Il Poggiale as well offers ma ages and basic splendour treatments. The daily rate is inclusive of accommodation, buffet breakfast, V.A.T. and all taxes. |
