It is easily acce ible near public transportation and is a fifteen minute taxi ride from La Guardia Airport and 20 few minutes from JFK International Airport. The hostel is centrally situated and is just a short subway ride (Grand Central Station or Times Square) or Long Island Railroad ride (34th Street & Penn Station) from Midtown Manhattan. It is as well a short walk from nearbynear U.S. tennis Open, Shea Stadium, Queens Botanical groundss, and numerous restaurants to suit all budgets. The Flushing YMCA offers 127 visitor rooms (single and double occupancy)for men and women and is safe, clean and inexpensive. Double room has one large bed.
