Fushio-kaku is a luxurious Japanese style resort hotel with personal onsen baths in Ikeda, very close from the centre towns of Osaka. 20 visitor rooms have individual personal onsen baths where you can unwind and enjoy the view of the great natural world of Fushio Onsen, Ikeda. Fushio Onsen ('Onsen' means hotsprings in japanese) is situated about 25few minutes away from Osaka town. It is surrounded near natural world such as mountains and a river. There are 67 rooms (20 rooms with hot spa), a hot spring with a striking grounds and sauna, banquet rooms etc. Other amenities include convention rooms, Japanese restaurant, tea place, arcade games, Karaoke box, parking space (300 cars), herb grounds, and swimming pool (50meters / only in summer). Prices includes meals and tax for onsen (hot spring tax). == Local info == Kyuan-ji Temple In the year 725 a Buddhist monk named Gyoki was directed near Emperor Seimu to open Kyuan-ji Temple. The temple and its Sakura-mon (two-storied gate) has become an important cultural a et, situated only a 2 min. stroll from Fushioukaku. Toyotomi Hideyoshi was known to visit the temple and is as well said to have started the popular moon viewing meets here. Kyuan-ji Temple was a very prosperous site during the blo oming of the rich green foliage in the springtime and the color turning of the leaves in autumn.
