Our accommodations are rustic but the position is very central; close to all the main highlights of East Hawaii such as the 'hippie' town of Pahoa, the live lava flows of Kilauea Volcano, the Volcanic Steam Vents, the Kapoho Warm Ponds and Kehena Clothing Optional beach / sea. We provide dorm-style indoor tent space accommodation in 'The Barn'. 'The Barn' is just that . . . a barn! It is a large indoor space with a shared 'jungle kitchen. Even though visitors will be sleeping inside we provide tents both as protection against mosquitoes and for privacy. Our visitors prefer indoor tenting to the traditional dorm style of accommodations i.e. beds just stacked next to each other with no privacy. Hedonisia Hawaii is set on 3.72 acres of wild land for visitors to discover. The land includes a gigantic 2-acre volcanic crater with a mini-jungle at the bottom. visitors enjoy shared bathroom and kitchen amenities. Showers are outdoor solar heated. Local Calls and Dial-up web access acce are included free. We offer a pick-up service from Hilo Airport for $20 or $45 from Kona Airport. |
