Prices From $10.00, £5.88, €8.54 Accommodation Type: GUESTHOUSE Hi`iaka's Healing Herb Garden HCR 2, Box 9620 Keaau, Hawaii situated on a 500 year-old lava flow at an herb grounds on the East coastal of the Big Island of Hawaii our hostel includes a gazebo that sits on a little hill in our educational grounds. It's nearby the striking Puna coastal that includes black sand beach / seaes, tropical lagoons heated near Kilauea volcano, and we're close to two little, quaint, non-touristy towns. It's walking distance to the ocean, where you can stroll along the lava cliffs, dip in tidepools or hike to a sandy beach / sea and enjoy the crashing surf and sometimes see whales and dolphins. The gazebo has 2 beds which you can put together to make a double or separate them to make a twin. This is the rainy side of the island, so we get more rain than the Kona side, but this vicinity is warmer and drier than Hilo because of the geographical setting and the fact that it's close to the ocean (where it's warmer and drier than the higher elevations). We have a vacation hireal cottage on the same 1-acre property. And there is a swimming pool that all visitors are welcome to use. We provide airport shuttle service for a nominal fee and as well offer cla es in herbal education and organic groundsing. |
