We pride ourselves on our private and welcoming ambience, good rooms with personal bath and hot water 24hrs a day. Our well known Restaurant rbol de Montalvo (before named Il de Roma) offers a mediterenean kitchen with food of high quality in a snug ambience. One of our specialties are the pizzas made in a wood-burning oven, but we have something for every taste on our menu! For almost a hundred years people arrived at this spot in Otavalo to have a nights rest and something good to eat (the former hotel started functioning around 1910). Although rebuilt in 1996/97, it has maintained its colonial style. Inside there is a patio where you still find the basin out of which the horses drank their water and the benches on which the travelers took their first rest, arriving at the valley of Otavalo (called the Valley of the Awakening). |
