Parque das Dunas, 3.250 Praia de Jauá Salvador The beach / sea hotel LAGOA e MAR is located in Praia de Jau , 'one of the most striking beach / seaes in Brazil' (magazine GEO, Spain), with mile long white sandy beach / seaes. In some parts reefs form natural pools when the tide is out and other parts are popular for wave surfing. The southern beach / seaes are almost deserted. On the beach / sea visitors can sample a host of Bahian food and drinks in any of the more than 40 beach / sea pavilions. The hotel consists of twelve roomy circular bungalows (app. 40 m ). It has a swimming pool with a separate pool for little children, sun terrace (with bedchairs and sunshades), bar with reading-room, playground and a restaurant with Bahian and international cuisine and vegetarian dishes. Each bungalow (suite) contains a bedroom with double bed (king size), fan and Television, a living room with two couchbeds, radio and fridge, a bathroom with toilet and shower and a veranda inclusive with a hammock and seats, providing enough room for up to three adults. Four bungalows are specially adapted for people with wheel chairs. Distances from the hotel: beach / sea 350 m; airport of Salvador 17 km (app. 20 min near car); historic town center of Salvador 40 km (app. 45 min near car). There is a regular bus service between Jau beach / sea and the town center (not at night). We offer sightseeing tours, town attractionseeing tours, airport and town transfers (even at night).
