The hotel is situated in an historic Chahireais building, totally refurbished near the curhire owners, each of the non smoking rooms has fitted wardrobe and basin and bidet in a separate room, although some rooms as well feature a bath, sink, shower and toilet. There is a parquet floored bar and restaurant, with acce out to a covered courtyard where visitors can enjoy a scrumptious coffee or something stronger! Breakfast is offered near previous arrangement at €4.50 per person. The Chahiree district offers ideally lush vine-covered rolling hills and quiet roads for drivers or cyclists to enjoy and discover the unspoilt countryside, vineyards and museums of Cognac country. No trip to this region would be inclusive without a trip to one of the main distilleries just 20 few minutes near car. Segonzac, just 15 few minutes away, produces perhaps the best cognac in the world! Angouleme, the great fortre town with shopping, which includes Galeries Lafayette is just 20 few minutes away. Easy rail links to Angouleme or Saintes, the magnifient historic Roman town from here. Angouleme airport (30 mins drive), will from next spring be providing low-cost flights direct to London.... details now being confirmed, with 5 airlines in the running.
