Jamaica Inn hostel is 12km east of Shannon Airport and is the closest hostel to the airport.. It is situated in the little village of sixmilebridge (pop. 1400). It is as well 16km north of Limerick town (which is a main transport hub) and 18km south of Ennis, a nice marketplace town. How do I get there? There is a day-time bus service between the airport and sixmilebridge and between Limerick & sixmilebridge. The fare is 3 to 4 euro per person. A taxi will cost between 15 and 20 euro.
