Prices From $34.04, £18.50, €27.93 Accommodation Type: HOSTEL JEVC Halls of Residence Jewel & Esk College Milton Road East, EH15 2PP Edinburgh Jewel & Esk Valley College Halls of Residence (Tourist Board listed) are situated in a nice rural setting just 7km from Princes Street (town center), close to Edinburgh's seaside suburb of Portobello. A very good bus service runs to/from the town center (it takes only 20/25 few minutes - see 'Directions to Hostel'). As well as the town center, Holyrood Park, Arthur's Seat and the new Scottish Parliament building are a short bus ride away. Edinburgh's port district of Leith is just 6km away. Once a busy port, Leith is now one of the town's fashionable leisure districts, with a wide selection of up to date and traditional bars, and in particular, many seafood restaurants. Our student bed rooms (4m x 2.5m) are basically decorated and furnished. Each room contains: - relaxing beds - A wardrobe/hanging rail - little table and chair - Vanity unit with washbasin - Illuminated mirror and shaving point. We have no en-suite bed rooms, but there are ample shower room amenities etc. on each level. There are Television rooms, and a vending vicinity for snacks, hot/cold drinks and more. Note that our Twin Rooms ( two persons) have two single beds (not a double bed). Continental breakfast is served daily 08:00 - 09:45hrs. There is no curfew - the hostel is acce ible 24 hours. There is a refundable Key Deposit of £10.00 Check-in time is 12:00hrs, but if you want to arrive earlier, we can register you and store your luggage until your room is ready. Latest check-out time is 11:00hr. |
