Marysville
An easy drive from Melbourne, through the stunning Black Spur road, the delightful town of Marysville and the nearby 'Mystic Mountains' has attracted visitors for a hundred plus years. There does seem to be something in the air ......... magical fern valleys, stunning waterfalls and the old world charm of Kerami House. Nestled in a sumptuous glade of shade trees, let your hosts, Grace and Terry welcome you to Kerami House with afternoon tea to experience peace and tranquility reminiscent of a more languid era, yet it is located only moments from all the things to do and splendour of sub-alpine Marysville. Built in 1920, the country retreat of a millionaire. Fully restored 1920's charm and decor alongside up to date comforts. Highlights include the 'Great Room' with billiard table and ten foot baronial style open fireplace, the littleer visitor lounge for more secluded gatherings and the delightful dining room for romantic candlelit dining. Four en suite rooms in-house (one with personal terrace and spa) all situated upstairs. Dining is a feature here - from the inclusive full breakfast to candlelit supers for two. 'We thank you for a superb weekend, although the weather was dull, Kerami was bright, full of friendline , laughter and warmth.' (TJ Eltham)
