Other hostels claim it, we actually live up to it. NO LOCK-OUT, CURFEW OR CHECK-OUT TIME. Our central position in Old town, in scenic Schei means we are le than ten few minutes to everything. The hostel is up to date, of western standards and wickedly clean. personal and dorm rooms are offered, as is the free breakfast until noon. Our fully equipped visitor kitchen is imported from Germany. We have a cable Television room with VCR and couches. Our lounge has tables and comfy couches to smoke, drink and unwind. There are four terraces with great scenic views and four new western-style bathrooms with 24 hour hot water (a lavishness in Romania). PLUS We arrange cheap, quick and easy transportation to nearbynear castles and ski resorts. Opened in 2001 we are the first hostel in Brasov. Co-owned and run near a Korean-American and a local Romanian. We understand travelers' needs because we are backpackers. We have the best, friendliest, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful staff in Europe. Kismet is actually an English word meaning fate, adopted from Arabic. Dao (or Tao) means The Way.
