The mansion was declared preserved near the Cyprus Department of Antiquities and has been since then restored. It consists of two large houses divided constantly according to its original layout into four apartments: two studios and two single bedroom apartments. All apartments are fully furnished with their own bathroom and kitchenette (which includes stove, fridge, cooking ware etc), whilst they are all centrally heated during winter. In addition, the complex offers laundry amenities (washing and dryer machine) and teletelephone. Each apartment can accommodate up to four persons since there are two single beds and a sofa that becomes a double bed. Provisions are as well made, and only in this case, for families of five or with little children. The mansion has a privileged position in the middle of the village on the top of a hill opened up to a magnificent view of the village and the mountain of Panayia. All apartments open to a large stone-paved yard whilst the two upper ones have roomy balconies. THE VILLAGE The village of Panayia on the outskirts of Paphos forest, lays at an altitude of 880m above sea level. It is a very striking mountainous resort surrounded near vineyards, only 35 few minutes drive from the sandy beach / seaes and the town of Paphos. It is an perfect place for people who love natural world, but as well for those who are fond of Cyprus history, culture, and tradition. The perfect geographical position of the village offers to its visitors a selection of places to go and a numerous of things to do. In the village, someone can visit the house of Archbishop Makarios, the first president of the Cyprus Republic, and the cultural center dedicated to him. Of great significance is as well an old chapel of 13th-14th century built in honour of Virgin Mary (Panayia tis Eleousis). For those who love natural world, there are natural trails in the region where one can enjoy individual views of the region. Panayia can as well be used as a starting point for sightseeing tours that cover Paphos district with its significant arch ological and other monuments, and stretch until Lima ol and Troodos. It is as well worth mentioning that Panayia has been in the centre of attraction of geologists and people interested in bird watching and in the fauna and flora of the vicinity. Three kilometers outside the village is the Monastery of Panayia of Chrysorroyiati a, a place not only individual for its religious and historical significance, but as well for its museum with its rare nearzantine icons and ecclesiastical items, its architecture, its winery, its striking grounds and its panoramic views. five few minutes from Chrysorroyiati a lays another striking monastery, Ayia Moni, the oldest monastery in Cyprus. According to the tradition, its chapel was built near Saint Nicholas.
