Throughout the centrally heated hotel, extensive use has been made of wood panelling and marquetry recovered from the R.M.S. Aquitania - last of the four funnel ocean liners. The ocean travel theme has been extended to many parts of the Hotel through signage and memorabilia.A large south facing front grounds is laid to lawn with terraced patio, pond and ornamental fountain. ideal for unwinding in the sun with tea... or something stronger from the nearbynear bar. The pool is situated in a secluded lawn and patio rear grounds. Heated for comfort, the 42' x 42' pool is suitable for swimming and has a dedicated changing room and toilet / wc. An outside fresh water shower is as well provided. Nightly live entertainment in the main season and at certain other times. It has a well stocked bar with a good selection of spirtits, beers and at least one real ale. as well offered are a range of bar snacks and light lunches. This lounge is provided with a sprung dance floor. Half board (breakfast and evening meal) is the norm. Our restauant offers a superb choice of five course meals with at least three hot, one vegetarian and five salad main courses. The menu changes daily and where po ible our resident chef employs local produce when preparing meals in our extensive kitchens. All bed rooms are en-suite with bath or shower and include tea/coffee making amenities, colour tv, hairdryer and direct dial teletelephone with alarm call faciltiy. bed rooms are loacated on the ground and first floors only.
