Accommodation Type: HOSTEL
Prince Of Wales
101 Dunlop Street
Little India
Singapore
The Prince of Wales is modeled on the many Australian corner pubs/hotels that provide punters with live music, a selection of cold draught beer, inexpensive accommodation and a casual ambience. A subtle Australian feel is brought to the pub through its sunburned colours, corrugated iron, weather board and red gum timber. Australian draught beer from the Grand Ridge Brewery in Gippsland Victoria (Australia) is shipped in to compliment the other international draught beers on offer. Fosters, Beamish Irish stout, Netoiletastle Brown Ale & John Smith’s Extra Smooth are all offered on tap. The music is alternative original rock, with a individual act each night. Sunday through Thursday is “Live & Unplugged”, while Friday & Saturday nights are “Live & Loud” in the main bar. Chill-out in the beer grounds with picnic tables, Barbeque, pool table and sports tv. Through the day we serve locally baked meat pies (to Australian specifications) and pour fine Italian coffee (Melbourne style). visitors can then enjoy our dorm style accommodation! The Prince of Wales is open 9am to 12 midnight. A night buzzer is offered for late/early check-in. All we’re mi ing is the ‘HOLDEN Ute’ and the ‘TAB’! (…but we are working on it!)
