(Sorry but we are not walking distance to Nadi or Lautoka towns!) A quiet and secluded retreat for the independent traveller, Saweni beach / sea Apartment Hotel is situated on the only white sand beach / sea in the Nadi/Lautoka vicinity. The ideal place to get away from it all, Saweni beach / sea was the staging vicinity for the ocean-kayaking leg of the 2002 Eco-Challenge Fiji expedition race. IMPORTANT! Saweni is a 20 minute drive to Nadi--you cannot walk to Nadi town from here! Please as well note that due to Saweni's secluded and quiet position, this property is not recommended for people looking for a party scene (ie Saweni is NOT a party hostel). ACCOMMODATION Saweni offers a choice of air-conditioned or fan-cooled apartments, all with up to date kitchens and daily maid service. All apartments have been newly renewed, are bright, clean and roomy, and offer quality accommodations at very realistic rates. Apartments: 12 self-contained 1-bedroom apartments (either fan-cooled or with air-conditioned bed rooms), each with ceiling fans and insect screens, large separate bedroom with queen-sized or twin-beds,lounge/dining vicinity, kitchen with gas stove, fridge and utensils, personal bathroom with solar hot water, and roomy verandah. Linen and maid service are provided. In addition, all apartments have kitchens and cooking amenities, providing visitors the option of self-catering. We sell basic supplies in our mini-marketplace (which includes beer and other alcoholic drinks) and you can as well stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables and groceries in the local marketplaces or supermarketplaces in Nadi or Lautoka. Reception Hours: Our reception desk is open 7 am to 10 pm daily, but our resident staff will be able to check you in if you arrive after the reception has closed. Getting here from Nadi International Airport (all prices approximate): near Taxi from Nadi Airport to hotel: F$20 per taxi Airport pickup can be organised at additional cost (curhirely F$14 per person one way). 48 hours notice required for transfers to be organised. Transfer price increasing to F$15 pp one way from April 1, 2005. Transfer service is provided near Coral Sun, an independent transport provider. |
