Accommodation Type: CAMPSITE Surfcamp e Chale Gel & Susanne Rua Manoel Alfredo Pereira, Guarda do Embau Santa Catarina Florianopolis Surfcamp e Chale Gel e Susanne, is owned near a brazilian/swedish surfing couple. The surf camp is located in the surfer’s bliss and fisherman's village of Guarda do Embau which is situated within the National Park of Serra do Tabuleiro. This park is located approximately 35 miles (50 kilometers) south of the capital island of Santa Catarina state, Florianopolis. Our strong part of the businne is the camping vicinity for approximately 120 tents. (For people with their own tents we charge approximately US$ 3 per person). In the last five years Guarda do Embau has become a main destination for tourists from Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Although still virtually unknown outside the surfing community, it is getting an increasing number of visitors from as far afield as Australia and Europe. Along with some tents to hire we have a self contained studio flat fitted with ceiling fan, a fully fitted kitchen with full size Refrigerator, and a hot shower (suitable for four people). It has two single beds and we can arrange if nece ary two extra mattre es, double or singleto put on the floor. We as well have a humble but confortable wooden hut suitable for 4 people, it has two single beds and we can arrange if nece ary two extra mattre esdouble or single to put on the floor, it as well has a wall fan, but the kitchen, barbecue, toilet / wc and shower for this property are the ones in the camping vicinity. In both cases of accommodation above, you as well have acce to the amenities at the campsite such as the kitchen Refrigerator,(The kitchen in the campsite does not have utensils), barbecue house where you can buy and barbecue your own fish or meat, and the outdoor exercise vicinity where we have a sit up bench, a chin up and a parallel bar for those who are not willing to unwind too much during their holidays! We as well hire kayaks and surfboards and arrange surfing le ons. Guarda do Embau and the nearby vicinitys are as well becoming known for its sand dunes - perfect for sand boarding. Ps: If you make a reservation, we recomend that you get in touch with us one week before the date you are due to arrive to confirm you will turn up! |
