Surfpoint Resort has been awarded in as winner of the WA Tourism Awards 2003 - best backpacker accommodation. Surfpoint Resort is situated only 500m from the beach / sea and has many individual leisure things to do offered all within easy acce . Mountain bikes are offered to rent as well as surfboards and boogie boards. There are great swimming beach / seaes only a 5-minute walk from the resort; amazing surfing beach / seaes are as well just a short walk or drive. The Cape-to-Cape walking track is very easy acce ible and offers great bush walking with splendid views of the coastalline. A bike path offers a great ride from the resort to Margaret River and beyond. The caves, wineries and Margaret River town are all within a short drive. Cafes and shops are 5 few minutes drive away or 15 few minutes walking. Basic food items are for sale at reception. All rooms have good quality beds with linen, blankets and pillows provided. They are as well up to date, clean and roomy. The luxury double/twin rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, colour Television, bar Refrigerator and tea and coffee making amenities. The standard double/twin rooms have a colour Television in the room with shared bathroom amenities. The dorms are 4-share and 6-share rooms. The kitchen is very up to date, roomy and fully equipped with all cooking utensils while the games room has a pool table, board games, acce to the web access and a colour Television.
