Tiare Village is 3km from Avarua township (15mins walk) located on the north side of the island. handy for shopping, Banks, Restaurant's and our very own Island nightlife. as well, just a few few minutes from the beach / sea at Nikao near motor scooter. Rarotonga is 32kilometers circular 1/2 hour near scooter approx. 2/3 hours near cycling. We cater for budget minded tourists in relaxing accommodation located in lush tropical groundss. Rarotonga has a daily bus service. The bus stop for Tiare Village operates from Mon – Fri 7.30am – 5.30pm, which travels on the hour anticlockwise around the island. The bus stops at the end of our drive, which is a minute walk from the main house. The swimming pool and shared Barbeque vicinity is offered for all Tiare Village visitors and an abundance of fresh fruit (pawpaws, bananas, mangoes and avocados) can be picked fresh from the trees in our grounds when in season. Let us know which type of accommodation you would prefer. No deposit is asked for in advance. We do need confirmation of your reservation as well as details of your incoming flight so we can organise your pick up. (From what country you are coming from, flight number, expected time of arrival and how long you would like to stay with us). Please remember the dateline when advising your ETA to Rarotonga. Once I have received this info I will return confirmation. ACCOMMODA TION POLICY: 2 nights MINIMUM Stay Check In: Our official Check in time is 10.00am. Early Check In Fee: Our Early Check In policy applies between the hours of 12midnight and 10am on your day of arrival. This is an additional charge of $15.00per room NOT per person (unle you are travelling alone). This allows you to gain acce to your room and all its amenities upon arrival before the official check in time. Check Out: Our official Check out time is 10am. Late Check Out Fee: For those flights, which depart between 10am, and 11.45pm; visitors are welcome to EITHER extend your checkout time of your room till your scheduled time of departure for the normal rate. OR checkout of your room at 10.00am, store your baggage and utilise the main house amenities, a towel will be provided; for $10.00 per person. If you need to cancel your booking with us your urgent advice would be appreciated. We do not ask for a deposit but common courtesy with regards to cancellation is appreciated. Internatio nal Airport Transfers: Please note that your first pick up (which is when you first arrive to Rarotonga) is a complementary service to Tiare Village. All other domestic and return transfers are NZ$6.50 per person. Please note Immigration policy requires you to have accommodation arrangement prior to your arrival On arrival for transfers All you need do is fill in Tiare Village on your immigration form. As you exit the arrival vicinity turn to your left and look for the “Tiare Village” sign I, or my driver will be there to meet you. After you have rested, we will arrange to take you on a tour through the main town to show you the whereabouts of grocery stores, car/bike hireals, banks, the marketplace place to better a ist you make the most of your stay here. FULL payment is made in CASH on arrival. Our office and large veranda is the meeting place to exchange info, have a barbecue or simply unwind and slip into Cook Island time. The main house, has 2 x 3 bed dorm, plus 1 x 4 bed dorm shared amenities. Large kitchen vicinity. The common room lounge has an info center, Television/Video/DVD amenities and web access system. 3 x Chalets: (each Chalet has shared amenities) Self-contained A frame chalets with outdoor deck.
