Our 'widow’s walk' is one of few remaining in town and offers extensive views acro the habour. Just 600 meters from the US ferry terminal, (about 10-15 minute walk) the backpackers is as well an easy walk to downtown, restaurants, highlights & the waterfront. We offer personal and dorm rooms, full kitchen amenities, Television room, share bathrooms, sun deck, Barbeque, car and bike “parking”. (Linen, blankets and towels are included in the price). situated at the junction of the Lighthouse and Evangeline tourist trails, the town of Yarmouth is just a few few minutes drive or short drive bike ride to some of Nova Scotia’s striking beach / seaes, lakes and provincial parks. So come visit & unwind - we have plenty of books & films, or for those wanting to discover - join a tour to experience Nova Scotian culture, history and natural world; take a zodiac ride through the harbour and beyond along our rugged Atlantic coastalline; wander through our historic town and chat to the local lobster fisherman at the wharves; watch the magnificent sunsets; canoe on the lake; hire a bike or just wander along a beach / sea (a dip in the Atlantic is really only for the brave!)
