A £2.25m refurbishment has transformed the former Victorian school and orphanage into a 100-bed youth hostel, located on the island’s east coastal with views towards France and looking over Mont Orgueil Castle. The building is famous to millions as the office of British Television detective Jim Bergerac! We offer 2, 4, 6 and 6+ bedded rooms. Meals offered include breakfast and evening meals. Walking, cycling, clean beach / seaes and bird watching are all offered to people visiting the island of Jersey. In WWII it was the only part of Great Britain to be occupied near the Nazis. Day trips to France are as well offered. Jersey has superb beach / seaes and countryside along with an extensive network of walking and cycling routes, it really does offer something for everyone. YHA Jersey is part of the Youth Hostel A ociation and membership of this organisation or the International Youth Hostel Federation is required. It can be purchased on arrival. |
